Epoxy Putties and Resins

Epoxy is the two-part structured glue used in high reinforcement of gluing parts together. The epoxy putties allow you to formulate rock’s position for a moment after applying to the surface because it takes little time to get hardened. Since it has high cohesive strength, it can fill the gap between adjacent rocks.  As epoxy putties are hard and durable adhesive, you can use them in an extreme environment, but the cons of epoxies are, they will look like clay after getting dry.

On the other hand, epoxy resin is an evident and hard adhesive for gluing rocks. The epoxy resin is used in different shapes of rocks that are not adjusted snugly together. The finishing look of this resin is much clear around the application area. The appearance is wet if you look from a distance. As the resin is liquid, it runs faster. So if you use it too much, it can form a pool beneath the rocks.

Super Glue and Jewelry Adhesive

Cyanoacrylate or super glue and jewelry adhesive are pretty good for small stones and rocks. If you want to join a small gemstone or large stone for a pendant, these glue types are better for their strong bonding properties. Superglue and jewelry adhesive dry faster.

Construction Adhesive

The construction adhesive is mainly used in fitting tiles, drywall, floor, and other construction bonding. This is the combination of natural clay, cement, polyurethane, acrylic resins, etc., and offered in a caulk tube. As it creates strong bonding and reinforcement between surfaces, it can be used for large rocks in building a homemade garden pond or other big projects. But there is a limitation also.
